Since 1944, McChesney’s has been purveyors of fine smoked meats dedicated to the highest standards of quality and personal service.  Our turkeys and hams are delicately cured and ever-so-slowly smoked with real natural mesquite and oak woods the old fashioned way. Placing an order

Where can I buy your products?

McChesney’s Smoked Meats is a direct-to-consumer business only. You can only buy our products directly from us. We do not use distributors or wholesalers. You can place an order either from our website or by calling our customer service line at 1-903-255-7100.

When can I place an order? When are you "open"?

You can place an order at any time, any day of the week. Our online store is always open!.

Be sure to place your order by noon (CST) to receive your order the next day. During holiday times, you must place your order by 3 p.m. (CST) to receive your order the next day.

Deliveries are available Tuesday through Saturday. For more information on our shipping policies, click here.

How do I place an order by phone?

Call our customer service line at 1-903-255-7100. One of our representatives will be happy to help you select your products and place an order. Please have your shipping address (including phone number) and credit card information handy.

Can I order by mail?

We are not a traditional mail-order company and we do not accept orders by mail.

Where do I find your pricing?

On the “Shop Online” page, there is a list of the available products for purchase and their prices.

Can I order now and select a delivery date in the future?

Absolutely. You may place an order at any time and select your delivery date at checkout.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?

If you order by noon (CST) or 3 p.m. (CST) during holiday times Monday through Friday, your order can be delivered as early as the next day. For parties and events, we recommend that you schedule your delivery to arrive 1 to 2 days before the event. This allows for any unforeseable delivery problems (such as severe weather). This is especially important to take into consideration during winter holidays, when weather is most unpredictable.

Are there any restrictions for holiday orders?

Because of heavy ordering volumes around various holidays, each holiday has different deadlines and restrictions. McChesney’s cut off dates for prompt delivery are as follows:

Can I place an order for a corporate gift, sales incentive, or corporate thank you program?

Shipping

What are your shipping methods?

All our products are shipped frozen via FedEx 2nd Day service.

How will my order be packed?

Your order will be hand-packed in a Styrofoam cooler. The cooler is then put into a corrugated shipping box. Our products are packed to withstand up to 48 hours of unrefrigerated shipping.

What does shipping cost?

Shipping charges will be calculated at time of order. Shipping is within the continental United States. Rush orders will have an additional charge of $15.00.

 

What days do you deliver?

Perishable items are shipped on Monday through Wednesday only, so that they are delivered to you by Friday and don't sit in the warehouse over the weekend.  There is an additional charge for Saturday deliveries. There are also shipping restrictions around holidays.

How do I track the shipment of an order?

When we ship your order, we send you an automatically generated email including your tracking number. Go to FedEx.com to track the progress of your package. If you do not receive an email containing your tracking number, it's possible that we don't have your correct email address in our system. You can also call our customer service center at 1-903-255-7100 and a representative will be happy to look up your tracking number, inform you of your package's progress, and update your account information for you if you wish.

I won't be home when FedEx delivers. Will they leave the package?

It is the responsibility of the customer to provide the proper shipping addresses and to ensure there will be someone available to accept delivery

How should I prepare my smoked turkey or smoked ham?

Can I change the delivery date of my package?

It is not possible to make any changes to an order on the day it will ship. That is, orders scheduled for delivery the next day cannot be changed on the same day they are placed.
